Eighteenth Century Art

I have always been obsessed with eighteenth century portraiture and was lucky enough to get to study it in more detail at university. My favourite artists used to be Gainsborough, Romney and that ilk but I now prefer Vigee- Lebrun, Nattier, Lancret, Greuze and the artists of the French school. Unsurprisingly. I recently went to the 'Citizens and Kings' show at the Royal Academy and it blew me away. Amazing stuff!
